Critical temperatures under control with the insulation of
cryogenic systems
Insulation in the cryogenic field guarantees a system for preserving the correct temperatures of the fluids even when the latter are at critical temperatures. Thanks to highly technological materials and an integrated design system that affects different areas of the plant, the transport and storage of substances such as liquefied natural gas (LNG/LPG), ethylene and ammonia, liquid oxygen and nitrogen is reliable, safe and constant even over long distances.

CHARACTERISTICS OF A CRYOGENIC SYSTEM
Heat exchangers
The insulation must not conduct the cold from inside to outside and the external temperature must not heat the internal liquid.
Leaks
The insulation must prevent corrosion of the pipes, since many of the transported media are critical, for example highly flammable.
High performance
The materials used must have low thermal conductivity and be mechanically stable to ensure safe transportation and reliable storage.
FINISHING
The system, once insulated, is not only functional, efficient and safe, but also aesthetically pleasing. In fact, we offer various finishes suitable for covering the insulating material and providing a product with great aesthetic quality, which integrates well into the customer’s company.
